It transpires that Mr Montague Norman (Governor of the Bank of England) had iii' intention of going to America. TIo was anxious to l'.a% - e a farewell talk with Mr G. L. Harrison, Governor of the Federal Reserves System in the United States of America, who was sailing by the Bremen, and decided to accompany him to Cherbourg, where he transferred to tho Majestic according to schedule.
