SYDNEY, Dec-ember 1. An attempt to wreck the barracks occupied by the master butchers at Aberdeen, who are killing stock for the Sydney trade, was made by about SO men. They maintained a fusillade of missiles until tliey were scattered by tho police, who fired over the heads of the attackers. Large quantities of blue metal were hurled through the doorways and windows of the barracks, where there Wore 54 butchers. A wild scatter took place when the police, who were also living on the premises, brought revolvers into play. Additional police have been rushed to Aberdeen, where all is now quiet.
