VITAL STATISTICS. METROPOLITAN AREA. In the Christchurch metropolitan area last month, 13 more births were registored than in November, 1929, there wae one death fover, and fourteen fewer marriages. For this year so far the number of deaths registered is 1262, and the indications are that for the year they will exceed those for 1926, when they numbered 1347. With the exception of 1918, when the number was 1456, the year 1926 holds the record l'or the number of deaths in the Christchurch metropolitan area.
