The East -Renfrew by-election resulted:— Lord Clydesdale (Con.) 19,653 Irwin (Labour) ... 12,293 Brown (Liberal) ... ... 4,813 _Lord Clydesdale is a bachelor, aged 27, and is known as the "boxing Marquis." He is an aviator and is the son and heir of the Duke of Hamilton. The Labour poll dropped nearly 5000 a# compared with last election. Eightyone per cent, of the electorate voted. In 1929 the result of the voting was: A. M. Macßobert (C.) ... 18,487 J. M. Munro (Labour) ... 16,904
