MURDER OF BANK MANAGER.
BUCKLEY SENTENCED TO DEATH (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—EY ELECTBIO TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) (Received November 28th, 8.45 p.m.) MELBOURNE, November 28. Richard Buckley was found guilty oi' murder and was sentenced to death. The jury was deliberating only for a few minutes. [Richard Buckley, aged 67, a bootmaker, was tried on a charge of the murder of Thomas Berriman, th« bunk manager, who was shot dead on October Sth, 1923. Angus Murray was hanged in 1924 for his part in this crime. The police arrested Buckley on September 30th last r under sensational circumstances.!
