BROADSIDING AT MONICA PARK.
SIDE-CAR RACING FOR THRILLS. The man or woman who cannot get a ''kirk" out of anything else will surely be thrilled at Monica Park Speedway to-night. This is where thousands of Christchurch people spend their Saturday nights, wtrek after week, and the army of patrons grows rapidly. To-night there will be exciting contests between Ernie Marsh and Phil Lunn in the Gold Helmet contest, and tho two Australian riders will also be going strongly. The local men will bo out for fast times, in the hope of being selected for the interprovincial team.
