FARES —Holiday Excursion tickets will be issued to Ashburton from ChristchUrch-Timaru-Springburn and intermediate stations on direct line of route by trains arriving Anhburton up to 12.80 p.m. on 6th December, available for return until Bth December. Special excursion tickets to Ashburton, 14s 6d first class, 10s 2d second class (including Is 6d course admission), will be issued from Christchurch by the 10.5 a,m. special train on 6th December, available for return until Bth December. Excursion, tickets wilt not b6 available by the 6.35 a.m. express from Christchurch, nor by the 6.5 p.m. express from Ashburton on 6th December. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. CHRISTCHURCH-ASHBURTON: Special passenger train, taking passengers from Christchurch, Addington, Sockburn, Templeton, Ztolleston, Dunsandel, and Rakaia only, leaves Christchurch 10.5 a.m., arriving Racecourse , Siding 11.45 a.m. Return train, taking passengers for Rakaia, Dunsandel. Rolleston, Tetnpleton, Sockburn, Addington. and Christchurch only.. leaves Ashburton 4.50 p.m.. Racecourse Siding 6.20 p.m., arriving Christchurch 7.6 p.m. ( Passengers from stations at which the special train will not stop must travel by usual 7.10 a.m. train (which will stop at Racecourse Siding to set down), and return by usual 3.50 p.m. Ashburton-Christchurch train (Racecourse Siding 3.55 p.m.), or by special inifced train leaving Ashburton 6.15 p.m. Special train, stopping where required, excepting at Rakaia, to lift racehorses, leaveß Christchurch 8.10 a.m., and arrives Ashburton 10.52 a.m. Horses from Rakaia must be loaded for the usual morning train for Ashbuftoft. leaving Rakaia 8.56 a.m. Special return train, stopping where required to. set down passengers and horses re. turning from Races, leaves Ashburton 6.15 p.ta. Should the Races be postponed the special train will NOT run. ASHBURTON-TIMARU. Usual 4.31 p.m. train if or Timaru will leave Ashburton 5.25 p.m. SPRINGBURN BRANCH.
