Franz Khristina, a Czech Government official, is the central figure in a triple love affair. £le is a remarkably handsome fellow, and is charged with murder. He arranged with his fiancee, Elizabeth Matula, and her friend, Zora Klasovitis, that they should die together, as all three loved each other. They spent the day eating, drinking, and dancing, and then went to a romantic ruin in Calvary Mountain He explained : ' The girls wanted me to shoot them straight away, 'No, I said, 'tve will wait til] midnight. Elizabeth asked to he shot .irst, but Zora pushed the r- volver into my hands and said, 'No, me first 1' Still I waited Elizabeth snid it could have been over long ago. All I know is that I shot Elizabeth, and then nlaced the pistol to my temple. Zora snatched it awav I took her head in my hands, she shut her eyes, and I fired Then terror overcame me. and I rushed down the mountain and surrendered to the police."
Accused was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment.
