THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
FINAL DAY IN CHIIISTCHURCH. The Governor-General of New Zealand (Lord Bledisloe), who has been spending this week in Christchurch, will return to Wellington this evening. He will be accompanied by his aide-de-camp, Sir John Hanham. Yesterday Lord Bledisloe attended variouß Masonic functions, and in the evening the conversazione at the Metropolitan Trotting Club's pavilion. This morning he will visit liangiora, and will perform the opening ceremony of the new experimental farm of tlie Uangiora High School. Later in the day he will be conducted round the pulls of the Kaiapoi Woollen Manufacturing Company.
