IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meet.ng of the Waipara County Council held at the office of the Council at Waikari on Friday, the 31st day of October, 1930, the following Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the Council to be held at the office of the Council at Waikari on Friday, the sth day of December, 1930 as a SPECIAL ORDER. RESOLUTION. SPECIAL ORDER AUTHORISING LOAN OF £7OO. That in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by "The Counties Aot, 1920," Section 17 of "The Local Bodies Loons Act, 1926,' and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling (the consent of the Local Government Loans Board having been obtained), the Waipara County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: (1) THAT the Council proceed to raise a Loan of SEVEN HUNDRED POUNDS (£700), being the Council's proportion of the cost of erecting a Bridge over the Waipara River at a point known as Edwards Crossing. (2) THAT such Loan be called the "Waipara River Bridge (Edwards Crossing) Loan, £7OO, 1930." (3) THAT the currency of the said Loan shall be for a period of TWENTY (20) year*. (4) THAT the interest on the said loan small be at the rate of Five Pounds Fifteen Shillings (52) per centum per annum, and shall be payable half-yearly. (5) THAT the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the repayment of the said Loan and the interest. Sinking Fund, and other charges thereon, the Speoial Rate of Five-eighths (Iths) of a penny in the Pound- Sterling on the Rateable Value (on the basis of the Capita) Value) of all rateable property, being the Special Area of land more particularly set out and described in the Consent of Ratepayers presented to the Council on the sth day of September, 1930, by Messrs Edward Stringer, Thomas Wright Edwards, and Albert Sheppard George. (6) THAT the form of security for the payment of principal and interest on the said Loan shall he SEVEN (7) Debentures of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS (£100) each and relative coupons in a form in conformity with the provisions of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926." (7) That no portion of the interest or slnk'ig fund shall be paid out of the Loan. AND IT IS HEREBY FURTHER PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that any person having any objections to the proposed Loan is called nnon to submit the same in writing to the Waipara Cointy Council.
