Society's concert next week at the Civic Theatre. Joan is a pupil of Miss Bcssio Pollard, and was the gold medallist in the senior division throughout New Zealand for 1930. The Society has consistently followed fho policy of encouraging young local talent, and subscribers will wclcomo the opportunity of hearing this young pianist. The box plan for the concert -will open at Chas. Becc and Co. next Monday morning. •
