CONTROL OF COMPETITION. (PBIBS .SaOCLATIOa Tiusatll.j , WELLINGTON, November 37. The New Zealand Tennis Association decided in favour of a penny increase in the capitation fee, making "t tourpence instead of threepence, the extra penny to be utilised for fosterma; junior teams. Mr \\. J. Melody's junior tennis scheme, minus the iinancia] proposals, is to be reintroduced. The junior national hard court championships are to be held in May. The Association is to take control of the Wilding Shield, and Nunnelley casket competitions on a scheme to be decided later. The Association - was opposed to the affiliation of non-terri-torial bodies.
