iVcknow ledgment is made of the receipt of £1 from Ruby Soanes for th© lepers' fund, through the Cliristehurch p,. f , ss Company, by Mr Ben C. Pratt. The money has been forwarded on to be u-,pd for the benefit of the lepers at Makogai. Since Monday last, when the "Trade Mark case" opened in the Supreme Court, ploughs and their parts have been 'subjects tor considerable discussion by counsel and witnesses. Yesterday morning counsel remarked that one part of a plough was sometimes called the "foot," and sometimes the "head." Shares were occasionally known as "Kfifks" for the reason that they fitted o ver 'the "foot." Mr J. H. Upham ea li e j his Honour's attention to th© fact that there was even another term for this part—the "nose." "Ah," said Mr Justice Adams, "who knows what, it should be called*
