Englibh (<eicesters—Jamos Reid, 61 points. ■ ]{order Leicesters —T. S. Littlo, 33 points. Southdowns—H. T. Andrew, 88 points. Corriedales—J. A. Johnstone, 65 points; rams, Estate of the late H. T. Little. 37 points ; ewes, J. A. Johnstone, 36 points. Wool—James Stevenson, 21 points. Friesians—J. I. Royd6, 38 points. Jerseys—J. Fleming, 17 points. Ponies—H. S. S. Kyle, 37 points. Honey—Mrs T. A. Pearson, 45 points. Poultry—M. C. Craig, 25 points. Attendants' Cup. Professor R. E. Alexander's Glial lenge Cup has been awarded to J. Gittens .(Messrs Cochrane Brothers, Ashburton), with 84 points. This cup is for competition among attendants of exhibits in the sheep, cattle, and draught horse sections — shepherds, stockmen, and grooms—who have prepared stock for the Show and who have been in charge of them for at least three months; the attendant whose animals gain the most points to be the ■winner. The A. and P. Association awards a medal to the winner, who has his name inscribed on the cup, which he holds for one year. Judging Competitions. The judging competitions are open to young farmers, or farmers' sons, under 25 years of age; first prize £2, second £l, Joseph Haydon gold medals value £2 2s are given to the first prize takers.
