PIGEON FLYING.
CANTERBURY CLUB. The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club flew oft a race from Kaikoura last Saturday. One hundred and eighteen birds were sent, divided amongst seventeen lofts. The lofts were divided into two sections, east and west. The birds were liberated by Mr K. Forrester at 8 a.m. in fine weather and a south'-cast wind, which changed to a BtTong nor'-west as the birds neared homo. Results EASTERN SECTION. . , ... Tarda pe* min. G. Anderson s No. 816 ..
