LATE MR G. M. V. CHAMBERS* Fellow dirt-track riders, the staff ;iud directorate of Stadiums (Christchurch), Ltd., and many other mourners attended the funeral yesterday, of Mr George Matthew Victor Chambers, who died following an accident, at the Monica Park totadium last Saturday r,j.rht. The funeral left 234 Lichheld street for the residence of the parents, Mr and Mrs Victor Chambers, Gobble s Valley, going from there to the Gebbic's Valley Churchyard, where the service was" conducted by the Rev. D. R. Hay. . Stadiums (Christchurdi), Ltd., .were represented bv the chairman of directors (Mr P. R. Climie), the directors (Messrs G. Lambert and J. B. N'eale), tlus secretary (Mr H. A. Barrett), and Mr W. Williamson. The pall-bearers, were dirt-track riders and members of the staff of Jones Motors, Ltd.: Messrs G. Smith, H. Durkin (the Australian rider), E. R. Marsh, H. Longdin. W.
