The Conservative motion set down for debate on the 27th censures the Government "for failure to formulate any effective proposals for extension of Empire trade and its refusal to consider the Dominions' offers'." According to "Tie Times" the Government does not anticipate an adverse vote. RECENT TROUBLE IN SAMOA. RUSSIAN NEWSPAPER'S STATEMENT. (Received November 25th, 10.30 p.m.) LONDON, November 24. In the House of Commons Sir Kingsley Wood enquired if the Foreign Secretary would take action concerning the "Pravada's" disclosure that recent Soviet revolutionary successes in the British Empire included two risings in Samoa. Mr Arthur Henderson said that the questioner had misunderstood .or misinterpreted the article, which merely contained news and made no reference to the Soviet Government's participation.
