THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
The Governor-General of New Zealand (Lord Bledisloe), who with his A.D.C., Sir John Hanham, is staying at the Chrjstchurch Club, had no public engagements yesterday. To-day, however, he will attend tho annual communication of the Grand Lodge of freemasons of New Zealand, and tonight he will be installed as Grand Master for New Zealand for the ensumg year. Lord Bledisloe will devote to-morrow to various Masonic functions, and on Friday morning he will visit Rangiora, performing tho opening ceremony at the new farm recentlv acquired by the Rangiora High School.
