THE SQUARE.
la THE EDITOtt O? TilE I'llKon Sir, I saw a picture recently of "the most beautiful I'hurch square in the world." I saw no train-linos, hhelters, or lavatories. Last Sunday I saw many people come into the Square from the north and board north-bound cars: I also saw people from Lite south board south-bound cars. I had twentyfive minutes to wait and saw many things that confirmed my opinion that shelters are as unnecessary as they are although the rain was pouring down. Aly honest opinion is that nor. onefourth of the people boardint; the trams on Sunday needed to enter the Square, and that the Tramway Hoard are responsible for the present position. I will never vote for anyone, either for the Tramway Board or the City Council, who trios to keep it as if is or to erect shelters in place of the present atrocious erection.—Yours, etc WOOLSTO.W Noremlver 25-ph, 1930.
