Tho caso in which the ownership or a quantity of oil, the subject of a, written contract of sale between the Sooony Pioprictarv, Ltd., and M. P. PimentaJ. who was recently sentenced tor fraua, was settled by Mr Justice Keed to-aay m the Supreme Court. His Honour held that property in tho oil, which was valued at £562 } had not passed from Socony, Ltd. Lpon consideration of the contract ana all the circumstances, he found that the intention of the parties was that the property in goods should not pass until payment had been made of the demand draft. The oil had been seized under several distress warrants. Costs were allowed plaintiffs.
