= NOW ON SALE Christmas Number oE "THE PRESS" 1930 "NEW ZEALAND ILLUSTRATED" COLOURED SUPPLEMENT.—The subject of the Supplement, which takes the form of a coloured presentation plate, is a study of Mount Sefton, one of the monarchs of the Southern Alps, rising to a height of 10,354 ft. in snow-clad magnificence. The plate is a reproduction of the picture by the late C. N. Worsley. and is reproduced by the kind permission of the Canterbury Art Society, the original being among the Society's collection in the Art Gallery, in Armagh Street, Ghristchurch. THE COVER.—For the attractive cover a Scene on the Milford Track, widely known as "The Finest Walk irt the World," has been chosen. It is the work of a prominent New Zealand artist, and has been reproduced in five colours. ILLUSTRATIONS.—The thirty-two pages of illustrations contain a great variety of subjects, and reflect the highest credit on the craftsmanship of the photographer, the engraver, and the printer. They are presented, some in a pleasing tint of green, and others in sepia, and printed with double-tone inks on the best quality of art paper.
