SHIPPING NOTES. After disembarking passengers and landing mails here this morning, the forry steamer Wahino will dock for cleaning and painting. She is to Bail at the üßual lime this evening. The Waipiata to sail to-day with cargo, for Wellington and Auckland. ' The Foxton is due here to-day from Foxton with cattle; and is to load here for the return trip. ; The Ivukui i* due this evening from Kaikoura and'/Wellington, and is to soil on . the return trip"to-morrow night. The Storm is now expected to-morrow from Westport with coal for tho hulk Kaupo. She surveys here. The Totara is due to-iii*rlit or to-niorrnw niornrlfiar from' Tarakohe with cement. The Waikouaiti is expected to-morrow from Dunedin to discharge cargo from Newcastle and Sydney and to load. She tails later for Timaru, Dunedin, Bluff, and Sydney.. The Tees arrived at the Chatham Islands on Sunday night from Wellington, and vas expected to leave last night for Lytteltoo. The Federal steamer Surrey was scheduled to clear Liverpool on Saturday for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She ia due at Auckland on December 30th. Advice has been received that the, Hud-dart-Parker steamer Uliitiaro* left Sydney at 12.30 p.m. on Friday for Wellington. She is due there this morning. The JJnion Company's Mnrama left Auckland at 4.50 p.m. on Friday for Sydney, where she is due this morning. She will leave there again next Friday for Auckland and Wellington. The Canadian National steamer. Canadian Cruiser, was scheduled to leave Halifax on Saturday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttolton, Timaru, Dunedin, nnd Napier. . She is due at Auckland about January 10th.
