DEATH OF T. J. DALY.
[THE PRESS Special Service.J WELLINGTON, November 24. One of the leading racing trainers m the Dominion, T. J. Daly, died suddenly this evening. He was associated with racing for most of his lifetime, and was at one time a .jockey, having ridden the winner of the Masterton Cup m 1895. For the past ten years he had been with Mr W. R. Kemball, and had trained some very fine horses. Joining the Kemball establishment at Masterton soon after that owner entered racing, Started as one of Mr Keiriball's private trainers at Otaki. A year ago he came to Trentham. l'he most promising horse under his care at the time or his death was Lady Pani. He also had a number of very promising Capa Horus just embarking on their H$ hf>d a heart attack this morning and struck his head against the firfe pliice; He died without regaining consciousness at 5.43 p.m. Mr Dalv wa? well and favourably known throughout the Dominion, and was highly respected by all his Turf associates He is survived by one son, Mr I/. Daly, alio of Trentnam
