TRAP SHOOTING.
PATTERSON CUP MATCH. Oil Saturday the Ellesmere Gun Club held it a la<?t shoot on the ground it has occupied for a number of years. The club reconfcly purchared a property near Leeston, and the official opening is to take place at the Christmas shoot on December 07th. The m.itoh on Saturday was for the Robert Patterson Memorial Cup—an annual fixture. Conditions wore good and there were 13 nominations. H. T. Stephens was the winner, malting 20 bleaks out of a possible of 21. Hia win was a very popular one. S. K. Jackman, with a score of 19, took second prize, and W. Quigley and Xj.
