'i'he most exciting movuent in "Tiger Rofe," the Vitaphone and Warner Bros.' production heading the current programme at St James' Theatre, is when the girl I'o.ie and her lover Bruce are escaping from tho Canadian North-West Mounted Police in 3- canoe through a rasing torrent between thr bare walls c.f a canyon. Only great nkiH and watcrcraft omtbla them to avoid the rocks that lio in their path and threaten to amash their canoe to pieces. This ie on© <->( the mos-t realistic sorne» yet iilmcd, being reminiscent oi "Way Down East." The setting of the play is in the Hudson Bay district, and concerns the resentment of the pioneers against the engineers and surveyors of the railway company, which intends to lay a line through th* district. The stars are Monte Blue ani Lupe Velea.
