SATURDAY'S TRANSACTIONS. Kecorded on c<xii on SutCU'* day morning were confined to one .or two stocks, in which thero was a moderato turnover. Transactions, exclusive of ves tibule business, included: 900 Commercial Bank of Aust. COO New Zealand Breweries. GOO British Tobacco. 200 Electro. Zinc. (pref. . 300 Mt. Lyell (cum div.). 900 Mahakipawa Goldfields.
Commercial Bank of Australia shtuea were fractionally weaker with dealings at 17s Id and 17s, and there were further sellers at 17e, buyers at 16s lid. Australian Bank of Commerce shares weakened to 10s 3d sellers, ISa (3d buyers. Buyers of South British Insurance shares raised their bids to 56s 3d without attracting sellers. New Zealand Breweries shares had dealings at 43s 3d, sellers staying in at that figure, buyers at 435. British Tobacco shares eased to 32s 7d and 32s 6d, and there were further sellers at the lower price, buvers at 32s sd. Electrolytic Zinc. Preference shares changed hands at IS a od and ISb 3d, market closing iSs buyers, 18s Od sellers. Unsupported sellers of Henry Jones Co-op. shares, cum dividend, reduced their limits to 23s 3d. Mt. Lyells, cum dividend, had dealings at 20s Id and IDs Od, closing quotation;-! 19s 9d buyers, 19s lOd sellers. Mahakipawa Goldfields shares showed little movement with dealings at BJd, buyers staying in at that figure, sellers at 9d. Okarito Gold Mining shares were stronger on buyers' offers 6a, sellers at Cs 2d. North Broken ITi!] shares appeared easier with sellers at 41s, buyers at 335.
