DANCE RECITALS
CIVIC THEATRE. To-night and Honda-y night, at iho Civic Theatre, Miss Macdonald -will present dance recitais. Tho progronnie consists of dancing, singing, and acrobatic items, so the display promises to be bigger and brighter than that of any previous year. In addition to being a spectacular presentation, the dainty dancing of the Tiny Tots will be enjoyed. A classical ballet is one of the big attractions, with Francis Clark and Nancy Wright as soloists. Jn this number "The Dream Boat" will be specially featured, Gladys Rose as vocalist, tho Tiny Tots as the dancers. Tho final rehearsal in connexion with the recitals was held last night, and every item was most successfully rehearsed. The fact that the proceeds are being given to F.uch a worthy cause—the St. Saviour's Orphanages fund—should a<3d to the popularity of the entertainments. The plans are now open at Tho "Bristol. Booking ia free. KADIANT HALL. Something Dut of tho ordinary in tho May of a dance recital is promised by Hiss Iris Montgomery at the Radiant Hal! on Saturday, December Glh. A v. hole programme of dancing becomes tedious to most people, and therefore Miss Montgomery ha«s called iu the ablo help of Miss Lucy Cowan, who will present two short plays and a song scena, for the children, called "Christmas." All the dances have been most cleverly composed to suit the personality of the performers. Re hearsale are in full swing. Some special scenery is being painted, and 110 expense or trouble has boen spared on the dressing. The orchestra will be under tho direction of Mise Nancy Hume. Proceeds will bo for Christmas cheer foT the children of the unemployed.
