AWARDS TO STUDENTS. (rBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) PALMERSTON N., November 21. At a meeting of the Council of Massey Agricultural College, it was announced that the Professorial Board had awarded the Sir James Wilson medal for the leading student in the sheep farming course to R. Dunn, of Gore, and the Farmers' Trading Co.'s medal, for the leading student in dairy farming, to W. M. Hamilton, of Wnrkworth. The following students were granted college certificates: — Sheep-farmers—R. J. M. Baton, E. Whittaker, B. White, and D Young. Dairy larming—R. Bruce, H. Coles, W. Hamilton, C. Herrold, M. Mailer, L. Purser, and 15. Russell. It was reported by Professor Peren that little remained to complete the main building contract. He was planning for the transfer of the staff to the new building at Christmas. Miss Erica Baillie, of Wellington; for seven years librarian to the Forest Service, was appointed librarian.
