ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGADE.

DIVISIONAL NOTES. The weekly meeting of the thurch Men's Ambulance Division wa.s held in the rooms 111 Gloucester street. There were ten members on parade, under Superintendent \\. Wootton. The Divisional Surgeon later took charge of the meeting and a verv interesting lecture on the cause .tnd treatment of whitlows, and at tin? conclusion was accorded a vote of thanks. Six members were detailed for duty on the St. •John Free Ambulance for the coming week, and First-Officer Palmer and Private W'entworth were detailed for public 'lut\ at the broadsidiny; tonipht. The remaining members were warned for parade at Latimer square to-day at 2,30 p.m., where a general inspection is to take place by Lieutenantcolonel O. Barclay. Deputy Chief Commissioner I'dr New Zealand. The Selwyn Nursing Division held its regular weekly meeting on Tuesday evening at the Brigade rooms, and a good attendance was recorded. Members who had been on duty at the A. ami P .Show Grounds banded in their reports on cases dealt with. I beso reports were, in some instances, accompanied by subscriptions given by the pntionts who bad received treatment. Nursing Sisters who had been on public duty with the St. John Free Ambulance al=o handed in a list of cases which had received attention by them. Members of the Chri.stchurch Nursing Division held their regular meeting on Monday evening under the l.ady Superintendent. Dr. F. J. Borrie. Assistant Commissioner, gave a short address on the organs of digestion. for which he was accorded a vote of thanks. The remainder of the evening was devoted to practical work under the I.adv Superintendent. At the conclusion, members were detailed for public duty at the St. Albans Swimming Carnival nnd the St. John Kree Ambulance. Members were also warned to parade for the annual inflection this afternoon.
