RKSOLUTIOK. SPECIAL OKL'SR AUTHORISING LOAN OF £7OO. That in pursuance fend in exercise of tho powers vested in it by "The Counties Act, I'J.O, .lection J 7 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1020,' and of all other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling (the constat of the Local Government Loam* Hoard having been obtained), tho Wuipara County Council hereby resolves by nay of Special Order as follows: (1) THAT the Council proceed to ra . a of SEVEN HUNDRED POUNDS (£700), the Council's proportion of the cost of erecting a Bridge over the Waipara River ai a point known ob Edwards Crossing. (2) THAT such Loan be called the "Watpar.i River Bridge (Edwards Crossing) Loan, £7OO, lifiiQ." (3) THAT the currency of the said Loan shall be for a period of TWENTY (20) (-4) THAT the iriU*reia on the s&id low small be at the rata of Five Pounds Fiftce Shillings (52) p'.?r centum per annum, and shnll be payable, half-yearly. (5) THAT tho Council doth hereby t propriate and pledge as security for the repayment ct the said Loan end the interest, Sinking Fund, and other charges thereon, the Special lt*tn of Five-eighths (fiths) of a penny in the IVund Sterling on the Rate able Value (on the basis of the Capital Value) of all rateable property, being the Special Area of land more particularly set out and described in th« Consent of Ratepayers presented to th« Council on the C day of September, 1930, by Messrs Edv/a Stringer, *}'hom«s Wright Edwards, and . bert Sheppard George.
