Marjorio Oliver, who appeared on a charge of being fonnd drunk in St. Asaph street on November 19th, this being her fourth offence within six months, wan sentenced to three months' imprisonment. THEFT CHARGES.

William George Ellis aged 17, (Sir W. P. Tracy), appeared for sentence on charges of stealing an electric head lamp, valued at 15s, and of a bicycle valued at £lO. The Magistrate said that one of the bad features of tho case wilr the way in which accused treated bin father. He was not satisfied with his conduct in tho box. on a suggestion from Mr Tracy that if the case were held over for n day or two Ellis might realise his position, lie waa remanded until November 24th. Albert Baker, aged IG£ years (Mr W. F Tracy), and Leslie Albert Sales, aged 185 vears! were charged with stealing a motor-cycle, valued at A'so, tho property of Edward Garriek. Both pleaded guilty. Chief-Detective Carroll said that the cycle had disappeared from the King Edward Barracks, and was found threo months later in a shed at Spreydon, where it was traced to the two accused. They had been using it from tirao to time, and hiding it behind the shed. As far as was known, it was iu good order. Mr Tracy said that apparently the machine had been taken in some sort of prank. Baker hsd good home conditions. Both accused were convicted and placed ou probation for three years. ON LICENSED PUEMISES.

Robert Hensbaw and James William Tullett, who pleaded guilty, wero charged with being found on the licensed premises of tho Phmnix Hotel after hours.

Sub-Inspector O'llara said that a constable had -seen tho two men on tho hotel premises at 9.30 p.m. The licensee's wife had opened tho door and told them to go away.
