SWIMMING SPORTS. The annual swimming sports of the Sumner District High School were held in the tepid baths, Christchurch, yesterday afternoon. The strong contrast between '.the conditions/yesterday atid" those of the open beach and surf, • made . the occasion interesting. The raQfis Tfrere entered into in a very keen spirit, and a very enjoyable afternoon resulted. The following are the results:—GIRLS' EVENTS.
