PIONEER SPORTS CLUB. FIXTURES. "Soaviow," Ashburton. November 27th—Motor Committee meet 7.30 p.m. November 29th—Miniature T.T. face, Kolleston Speedways. Doeembef 13th—Mystery Competition. NOTES. The South Canterbury Motor-Cycling Club intend holding & 24-hour reliability trial, solo an<l side-car, on the 2Hth and 29th of this month, conditionally upon not fewer than 20 entries being received. These will close with tiio secretary of that club at 5.30 p.m. o'i Tuesday, November 25th. The route of tho trial will be from Timaru Oamaru, Palmerston, KVeburn, Itimfurlv, and Middlemafch, to Dunedin, via Outrum, returning from I)unedin, via Leith Valley, or Mount Crtrgill, to Palmerston and Oamaru, And finishing at Tirrtnru. The trial will start at 9.30 p.m., competitors being dispatched at one-minute intervals. An iirei-flge speed of 25 m.p.h. must t>o maintained throughout. Tho total distance of the journey, is 367 miles. Competitors must be financial members of a motor club or Association affiliated with the North or South lslarid Motor Union. The annual inter-club rally of the South Canterbury-, Ashburton, and Pioneer Spirts Clubs will take place next Sunday. Th* members of the laßtimmed will leave the club house at 0 a.m. for Ashburton, where they will be met by those from the other clubs nnd proceed to "Seaview," where the reunion will tnke place. With firm weather, an enjoyable outing should ri-sult. ft is probable that the tii'et track meeting of the season at New Brighton will be held on February 7th or 14th. A meeting of the light ear. section of the P.S.C. will be held on Monday evening next for the purpose of drawing up n programme of sporting events that will appeal to light cut ownei-s, tor whibh there should bfe plenty or seope. On December 6th the Ashbnfton Club intend to stage a sporting ti'ial, embracing many novel features, which are likely to appeal to young riders.
