She is stated to bo good-looking. with bobbed hair. She is believed to be the widow of mi arinv surgeon. As a neighbour and triend of Mr i .id Mrs I homas she attended the latter during her illness and was present at the funeral on November Bth. She hired a motor-car on November 11th and went to ji coast resort. She has not been seen since. A search of her house revealed that she scribbled the form of a will, which was pencilled on a single sheet of notepnper and pined on the kitchen table. Also there were letters, includ'"K °' U! from an auctioneer concerning the disposal of her property. The police in searching the cliffs on November 17th, found a coat resembling hers, but they believe she is still alive, and thev are anxious to interview her in reference to Mrs Thomas's illness. She nursed during their last illnesses her father, mother, mint. sister, and one friend.. She gave the best part of her life to helping others.
