W.E.A. ACTIVITIES.

SUMMER SCHOOL. Present indications are that the W.E.A. Summer School, which is to open at Waimate oh December 26th, will prove as successful as its predecessors. The school is available not only to W.E.A. students, but to all interested. Following is the panel of lecturer.-::- — Dr. J. Hight, Bector Canterbury College; Mr W. T. Tliom&S, M.A., Principal, Timaru Boys' High Hchooi; -Mr L. P. de Berry, M.A., headmaster, West Clhristcstiurch School; Mr A. Maclintock, M.A., Timd.ru Technical School; Mr 1\ Campbell, M.A., Temuka High School; Carol West-Watson, 8.A., Canterbury College, and Mr W. J. Scott, M.A., Timaru High School. Tho Waimate Borough Council and the sporis bodies of Waimate have kindly placed facilities for sport at the disposal of those attending the Summer School.
