The death is announced of Mr Henry .Morland Gore, for many years secretary of the New Zealand of fine Arts, and also for tingtysnjiig v (;;irs secretary of the British Association. Ha was a wellrknowu amateur painter. Mr Gore was a prominent tennis ptaver, and represented New Zealand in "the first team sent" from the Dominion to Sydney jn IS9O. He also represented Wellington in interpror viucial games and was a competitor in the' national, championships at the time wlien F. M. B Fisher and J. GPeacock were engaged.
