THE VALLEY CLUB. Members of the Heathcote . "Valley Cipb (Incorporated) ' gathered in - the Cjub. Hall., on Saturday' evening; for the first reunion of members held .for a number of years. The evening took the form of a smoke concert, and * very enjoyable time was spent. There, was a good attendance and an -enjoyable evening was spent in games and competitions, interspersed with musical items, which were contributed by Master Dave Connolly, (cornet solos), and! Mrs' Loney (piano). Competitions were won by Mr B. Connolly and' Master Burflell. ' Mr' • W." J. Burnell was M.C. "' • % Cricket. A friendly cricket match wag -played during the week-end, between teams representing Heathcote -Valley and the Lyttelton railways; "on the -Heathcote Domain.
