INSPECTION OF SCHOOLS.

VISIT OF DIRECTOR OP EDUCATION. A three-day programme of inspection for the Director of Education (Mr T. B. Strong), and the Assistant-Director (Mr A. Bell), who will arrive in Chri»t. church this evening from the south, has been drawn up by the Canterbury Education Board. The programme is:— Wednesday: 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., Christchurch High Schools; 2.30 p.m., Tai Tapu; 7.30 p.m., Education Board's office. Thursday: 9 a.m., Rangiora; 11 a.m., Hawarden; noon, Waikari; 1 p.m.-2.30 p.m., Scargill, Greta Valley, Tormore; 3.15 p.m., Mackenzie; 6.30 p.m., arrive Kaikoura. Friday: Kaikoura, Kaikoura Suburban, and Glen Kowhai. Mr Strong and Mr Bell will leave io? Wellington on Friday evening.
