SANDERS CUP TRIALS.
FIRST DUNEDIN RACE. (PKtSS ASSOCIATION TBLEQP.AU.) DUNEDIN, November IG. The first Sanders Cup trial was held on the harbour this afternoon over a tnanauliir miirsp.. Tho wind was light and flukey nnd as a result the boats took nearly two hours to cover the course. Four boats took part in the contest, the winner being Squib, sailed by C. Petti t, which beat Heather, sailed by VV J. P. McCulloch, by a few seconds. Eileen, skippered by A. Hunter, was the first bo.it in, but was disqualified been URf> shf did nnt kP«»D to the course.
