A verdict in accordance with the medical- evidence: was returned at the -inquest.„at Patea to-day on William Henry Moore, aged, 24, of hLawera, and his. ;.fatner, William Sturrock Moore n aged 55, of Blenheim, who died iq the Patea HospitaF subsequent to the q&pstee of a car. near Moumahaki, oh September loth.- Moore; juri. died the foHowing tnornmg'of a fractured skull; and Moore, sen. died on November 12th from myocardial -degeneration accelerated by this .shock of the accident. The pair were travelling south with John E. Jones, a: professional boxer, in a small car belonging to: Jones, who said in evidence that Moore, jun., took over the wheel shortly before reaching the scene of the accident; which occurred as a result of a> skid on • a greasy patch of road. Jones escaped injury.
