SOCIAL AND PERSONAL. .Mr and Mrs H. Ehvorthy (Craigmore), left yesterday to stay with Mrs P. White (Hawke''s Bay). Miss M. Scott (Cannington) is tl-.o guest of Mrs G. Murray, Glenmore, Mackenzie Country. Mr and Mrs H. Sinclair Thomson (Park Lane) are visitors to ChristchurcU for the Show. Mrs R. F. Hill (Mere Mere street) returned from Christchureh yesterday. Miss Rcvell ("Cadogau," Sefton street) is on a visit to the Southern Lakes. Dr. and Mrs M. Mitchell (Vancouver), who were the guests of Mrs Hamilton (Ashwick), and are at present on a visit to the Southern Lakes, are expected back to-day. The following have been roeent guests at the Dominion Hotel: Mr and Mrs R. G. Munro (Kurow), Messrs B. Mac Lean (Christchureh), A. Campbell (Christchurch), and A. Turner (Christchureh). Latest arrivals at the Grosvenor Hotel include Mr and Mrs B. Watson (Christchureh), Mr and Mrs Slater (Ceylon), Mrs M. K. Case (Now . York), Messrs A. Livingstone (Sydney), P. W. Sampson (Wellington), A. S. Alexander (Christchureh). A. S. Murie (Wellington), and W. Murie (Wellington).
