GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
VISIT TO CHRISTCHURCH. Their Excellencies, Lord and I>arty Bledisloe, visited the Canterbury A. and P. Association's Metropolitan Show at Addington yesterday. In the evening his Excellency attended the Cbristchurcb Returned Soldiers' Assosation's smoking concert. To-day their Excellencies wilT he present at the conI eluding day of tho Canterbury Jockey Club's Metropolitan Meeting at Riccarton. In the evening they will attend a reception tendered to them by the Canterbury West of England Society in the Radiant Hall. On Monday their Excellencies leave to pay official "visits to Tiraaru and • Oamaru, and they return to Christchurch on the evening of November 22nd. His Excellency has consented to open the farm recently acquired by the Bangiora High School. The ceremony will take place ■on November 28th, at 11 a.m.
