BAND CONCERTS.
Berry's Military Band will play on Sunday evening on the Memorial rotunda, and an entertaining programme has been arranged. Among the principal items will be selection, ",Les Cloches de Corneville" (Planquetto), and "Chanson Triste" (TschaikowSky), whilst Bandsman C. Barsby will play a trombone solo entitled "Serenata,'.' by Toselli.
The last of the free open-air band concerts for which the Woolston Band has been engag6d by South Island Motors, Ltd., will be j given this evening . (weather permitting), -j These concerts have proved, decidedly popular. With favourable -weather . setting",: the.l new band rotunda pn the banks of the Avon, lltumina'ted with multi-coloured..lights, makes ft:', picture that appeals to everybody and greatly enhances the pleasure of the firstclass music played by New Zealand's Champion Band.
