AUCKLAND, November 13. • "It is quite obvious that the whole circumstances .of this bankruptcy are most unsatisfactory," said the Official Assignee, Mr A. JV. Watters, at the adjourned meeting of creditors of Philip Schneideman, tailor, now of Christchurch, formerly resident in Auckland. : It was decided that subject to the expenses not being above £2O, the Official Assignee be asked to have bankrupt medically examined to ascertain whether, as had been represented, he was unfit to 'travel to Auckland to undergo examination. A sub-committee was appointed to obtain contributions from creditors toward the cost of the medical examination and travelling charges, provided the doctor decides that the bankrupt may undertake the journey.
