SWORDS CLUB.

MEETING OF COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Christchurch Swords Club was held, last evening. Mr H Cato presiding. Present' were;— Messrs J. (j Ward. G> H. Mirams, A- M. Thatcher, and F. G. Dunn (secrotary). Conditions for the award of the Nicholls Cup were fixed 6s follows: That it should be awarded for annual competition in an open championship, and that the competition should close each year on March 20th. „ A letter was rpceived from the Syd,le.V Swords Chib, congratulating the club on its formation, and offering assistance where possible. The letter also stated that there were in all six fencing clubs in Sydney. It was announced that the club badge bad been decided on, in the form of a black heart, with red crossed toils and red lettering.
