WELLINGTON", November 11. - Charged -with driving a motor-car while in a state of intoxication, an,d n-ith driving in a : manner 'which might have been'dangerous to the public, arid with failing to stop after an accident, Thomas John Firtb appeared before Mr McNeil, S.M., who decided that Firth,was temperamentally unfitted to drive, and cancelled his license for three years. The charges arose out of a collision at Kaitoke with a motor-cycle ridden by A. F. Carter. A fine of &5 with costs &5 15? was also imposed, and Firth was convicted and Ordered to pay 10s costs on the oi/her two counts. Firtb had previously been sis times before the Court for dangerous driving, once for speeding, and twice for failure to obey signals. .
