HOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE.
A five-roomed dwelling-house at i'iaxton, owned and occupied by Leslie Pawsey, was totally destroyed by fire yesterday morning.' A few personal effects only were saved. It is thought a defective chimney was the cause of tho fire. The furniture was insured for £2OO in the Royal Insurance Company.
