LIBERTY THEATRE.
"The Cat ami the Canary" is .the main attraction at the Liberty Theatre this week. The theme of the story is decidedlv original, and affords ample opportunity to tho many thrilling incidents which arise throughout the showing of the him. Tho story telle of the will of one Cyrus West, an eccentric old rich man, regarded bv his relatives as insane. Before ins death thev had surrounded him, waiting tor the promi'sed spoil, like cats round a canary. Ou the night of the reading of the will, a night of storm and lightning, the interested parties assemble. This is where the fun starts, for the house is dark dismal, and haunted. The incidents are thrilling to the extreme, and the whole production one ot intense interest.
