There gathered in Ballantynes tearooms vesterday afternoon, at the invitation of Mr' J. E. Brunt, nine citizens who attended St. Michael's and St. John's Schools 60 years ago, and who have kept in fairly close touch since. Thev were: Messrs Harry Fisher, Alfred Marshall, F. H. Steel, Joseph S' argent, James Turnbull, Alexander Marshall. J. T. Parker, and Charles Bailev. An hour was spent in talk of school days, and it was agreed to meet socially once a year.
