GISIXXRNE, December 8Israel Gelhor, charged with breaches of the Bankruptcy Act, by contracting ilcbts amounting to £Tit) with live Gisbornc firms, without reasonable expectation of ability to pay,.and with failing to keep prqper books and accounts, pleaded guilty. The Crown Prosecutor stated that accused had been four times previously bankrupt. Tho Magistrate: And these firms give him credit! Nearly every firm in Gisborne seems to ■be'on the list. Accused was remanded till to-morrow for sentence.
